Doesn't Do What It Says On The Tin

After applying 2 coats and waiting some considerable time the paint had only just softened and was still extra extremely difficult to remove. It required extensive elbow grease and a sharp scraper. This is nothing like the paint strippers of old which really used to remove the paint. This does nothing more than soften it a little. And this was on five year old emulsion on new wall plaster so not multiple layers of years old paint. I had to buy some more as I run out and I bought another product at half price which didn't work any better but certainly no worse. I suspect the paint strippers today are confined by health and safety rules and they just simply do not do the job very well at all.
