Timco Premium Plastic Wall Plugs – Trade Bags of 1000
Timco premium plastic wall plugs are made for trades and busy sites. Moulded from a premium grade polymer, they give improved pull-out loads compared to standard plugs, with anti-rotation fins that stop them spinning in the hole and help them stay put when you're fixing overhead.
They come loose, not on sprigs, so you can grab one straight from your pouch and keep working. Each trade bag holds 1000 plugs, ideal for fitters, electricians, kitchen fitters and builders who get through plugs fast.
Key Features
- Premium grade polymer: stronger hold than standard plugs
- Improved pull-out loads: more grip in concrete, brick and block
- Anti-rotation fins: no spinning in the hole, and less chance of dropping out overhead
- Loose, off the sprig: quicker, easier fitting on site
- Trade bag of 1000: great value for regular users

Premium or Standard Plugs?
Premium plugs grip harder and come loose for speed, so they're the better choice if you fix to walls every day. Only need a few? Our standard Timco plugs come in boxes of 100: yellow, red and brown. Or browse all plastic wall plugs.

FAQs
What's the difference between premium and standard wall plugs?
Premium plugs are made from a higher grade polymer for better pull-out strength, have anti-rotation fins so they don't spin in the hole, and come loose rather than on sprigs for faster fitting.
What size drill bit do I need?
Use a 5mm bit for yellow, 5.5mm for red and 7mm for brown. In softer materials, a slightly smaller bit can give a tighter grip.
Are these good for overhead fixing?
Yes. The anti-rotation fins help the plugs grip the sides of the hole, so they're less likely to drop out when you're fixing into a ceiling.
Can I use these plugs in plasterboard?
No. They're designed for solid walls such as concrete, brick and block. For plasterboard, use a dedicated plasterboard fixing.
